Earlier, at the TPAF Taiwan Headphone Culture Festival, I encountered the new brand Essence Ears, which has quickly made its way to the Hong Kong market. The brand currently offers two products: the EVOLVE and EVO. The EVO features a 5-driver, 4-way crossover design, paired with a pure copper headphone cable. It delivers excellent bass and a well-balanced, refined sound. The higher-end EVOLVE, on the other hand, is designed with 7 drivers and 5-way crossover, including 2 electrostatic drivers, and comes with a copper-plated silver cable. It emphasizes a sense of layering and atmosphere.
